About me:
HJ Persinger is a fantasy author and mental health counselor-in-training who writes stories stitched with ash, prophecy, and impossible choices. Her work explores identity, grief, power, and the kind of love that both wounds and redeems. She’s endlessly drawn to broken things that still burn bright—and to characters who long for more than just survival.
She holds a B.S. in Psychology and is pursuing her Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling, a journey that quietly shapes the emotional layers in her writing. But more than anything, she believes in the power of story to reveal, to haunt, and to heal.
Haylee lives in Utah with her husband—her best friend and favorite human—and their delightfully scruffy mini poodle, Mochi. When she’s not writing, you’ll find her daydreaming in bookstores, walking around the mall, or wishing she could step into the worlds she creates.
